  • End of Term Assembly

    Fri 16 Dec 2016
This morning, the whole school (and some parent/carers) joined together for the final assembly of 2016. The festive Christmas jumper competition winners were announced. Well done to all those who entered, the designs were brilliant! The WISA Raffle prize draw winners received some fantastic prizes, and we wish to thank all those who entered the draw and those who donated prizes. The children enjoyed singing some familiar Christmas songs, including Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. The annual 'staff-participation' song, The 12 Days of Christmas was enjoyed by all too. To finish our assembly, EYFS and KS1 children sang a favourite song from each of the Christmas performances. Wonderful singing to end the year!
  • Year 1 and 2 Christmas Party

    Thu 15 Dec 2016

What a fabulous afternoon we all had!

We began by all dancing to our favourite song from our Christmas play which was Alleluia yodel - even the teachers knew all the moves!

Next we played party games including 'Festive Stations' and 'Pass the Parcel' which was so much fun!

After lots of dancing we all sat down to sing some lovely festive songs - we sang so beautifully that a very special visitor arrived -SANTA! Santa even joined in a few songs with us!

Santa was then very generous - giving each class a Christmas Present! Some were very heavy and all looked very exciting!

We then went back to our classrooms to carry on the party and eat lovely party food! Santa came to see us all and reminded us to go to bed early on Christmas Eve, and to keep following the Golden Rules!

Finally we opened our presents - Can you remember what you got?
