  • Easter Assembly and Goodbye Mrs Proctor

    Fri 08 Apr 2022

WOW! WOW! WOW! You all looked truly spectacular in your Easter bonnets this morning. What an array of colour and talent we had amongst us in our end of term Assembly. A massive thank you to the effort you all made in supporting our Easter bonnet day! The children held their own parades in their year groups this year. I’m sure you’ll agree everyone’s Easter bonnet was amazing!

We met as a whole school for an egg-cellent singalong as we sang Let’s Celebrate. This reminded us about the Christian festival called Easter which tells of the story of the death and resurrection of Jesus, which we have been learning about in RE. We also sang a Westfield favourite - Spring Chicken which reminded us of new life and new beginnings…

… A perfect link to saying goodbye to Mrs Proctor who will be leaving us to have her baby! Mr Squires presented her with a goody bag and flowers. We are sure you will love every minute and make an amazing mum Mrs Proctor. We can’t wait to hear your amazing news - but hope you manage to have a rest over the Easter break before meeting your new arrival. Don’t forget to visit us!

We wish all our Westfield families a lovely Easter break. See you on Monday 25th April 2022!

  • Boundary Farm Assembly

    Mon 04 Apr 2022

We were delighted to share our news from the farm in our special farm assembly this morning. The children did a fantastic job of sharing the knowledge they gained on the trip. It was wonderful to share what Spring time is like on the farm with all pupils at Westfield Infant School.
