    Something very exciting is happening at Westfield Infant School.....We opened our 'Reading Cafe' for the first time!

    In Bear Assembly this morning, pupils were told about the Reading cafe. It will open once a month and you can only come if you receive a special award- 'Reader of the Month'!

    Over the next month teachers will look for children from their classes, who are trying really hard with their reading, show enthusiasm towards reading or becoming more confident readers!

    If you get to go to the 'Reading Cafe' you will enjoy sharing fun books together whilst having a treat of a drink and a biscuit or two!!

    Our first visitors had a fabulous time today and wish they could visit again!
