This afternoon, the Year 2 children took a short walk around the local area as part of this term's topic 'Street Detectives'. The children had to use their 'good looking' to spot how and what the land had been used for. Houses and shops were a very popular use of land, but there were other uses too. Can you remember what other types of buildings you spotted?
The children were also great at spotting and discussing features of the area that were either physical or human (man-made). Share with your adults why roads and pavements are human features? Can you recall a physical feature you and your buddy spotted?
The children were well-behaved and represented the school well. Great job children. We will be mapping out our findings in the next few days.
