The catering staff work hard to provide the pupils with a varied diet of high quality healthy meals. A daily choice is available and special diets can be catered for.
There is a menu board displayed outside the kitchen with the weekly menu on it.
All pupils at Westfield Infant School are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals which provides a hot meal at lunchtime for your child.
There is additional support available for pupils who need encouragement during lunchtimes.
Applications for Free School Meals (Pupil Premium Grant) Families who believe they may be eligible for Free School Meals should telephone: School Food Support on 0116 305 6588 or 0116 305 7093 who have a central database and will be able to advise you immediately. For further information please see the office staff.
If you wish your child to go home for their lunch they cannot be returned until teaching staff resume their duties at 12.25pm (EYFS), 12.45pm (Y1) or 1.15pm (Y2). A form to arrange for your child to go home at lunchtime is available from the school office.
