We feel that every child who attends Westfield Infant School deserves success right from the start. We believe the earlier children learn to read the greater their achievements at school. This is why we put reading as a focus of what we do!
Our aim is for children to learn to read effortlessly so that they can put all their energy into comprehending what they read. It also allows them to spell effortlessly so that they can put all their energy into composing what they write.
