We have carefully selected our Westfield Infant School curriculum based on the needs of our learners and to take account of teacher wellbeing and workload. As of January 2024, we use the Primary Knowledge Curriculum as a basis for planning Science, Art, Design and Technology, History and Geography. Kapow is used to plan Music, SCARF for PSHE, Get Set for PE for Physical Education and Teach Computing for ICT.
We have a specific teaching and learning model, based on current research, that our whole school follows in order to deliver the curriculum and ensure that children gain and remember the knowledge that they need to achieve and succeed.
