Year 2 Local Area Walk
Today pupils from Year 2 became 'Street Detectives' as we walked around the local area near our school.
We looked at various features of the locality, including different types of houses and we thought about how the land had been used.
The walk was a brilliant opportunity to talk about road safety and we kept a look out for things in our local area designed to keep pedestrians safe including traffic crossings and bollards.
Child can you be 'Street Detectives' on your route to school? Talk to your grown ups about the types of buildings you see and the materials used to build them.
