Year 2 Family Learning trip to Green Towers
Some Year 2 children and their parents went to Green Towers today to take part in some very exciting activities. We started the morning with some parachute games and a very energetic game of horses and knights where the horses were the grown ups!. Then we went into our groups. The first group were learning circus skills such as juggling, tight rope walking, hoola hooping. It was great fun. The second group took part in a variety of team building events that involved good listening and co-operation skills. Finally the third group found out how to be safe around dogs and also played a game. At the end of the day we all came back together and Mr Burrows demonstrated some very interesting acrobatics that the children could do with their grown ups. This was very tricky and gave us some real heart stopping moments...but thankfully everybody was fine. Thank you to all the children that behaved brilliantly and the adults that came to support them. A good time was had by all.
