Year 1 Sports Afternoon

The rain held off for our fantastic Year 1 sports morning! We were so pleased to welcome back parents and carers to cheer us along! 

 

Mr James and Ben had organised six challenges for us to participate in. These were:

  • Tunnel Ball
  • Precision Beanbag Throw
  • Obstacle Course
  • Standing Long Jump
  • Aim and Shoot
  • Bat and Ball Relay

 

This year we had to work in teams to try and win the magnificent Sports Day trophy🏆.

 

Congratulations to the Class 4, Team A on winning the 🏆 trophy this year! The winners were each presented with a medal🏅 and EVERYONE who took part this morning received a special sticker at the end of the school day. 

 

Well done to all of you - you put in 100% effort and sportsmanship. You made us all so proud!

 

Thank you to parents/carers, grandparents and friends of the school for coming to support us today. It was so lovely to see you and hear you clap and cheer us on!
