Year 1 Outdoor Adventures Parent/Carer Event
This afternoon the Year 1 children and their grown-ups were invited to come and take part in some fun outdoor activities.
We all started in the Trim Trail where everyone was given the challenge to build a waterproof den. Miss Hamilton then threw water over them to see who’s was the best. Luckily no one got too wet!
After that we went onto the playground and took part in some sports activities. All the activities included; basketball, hockey, football, ladders and skittles.
Finally we all went into the hall where we met Mr Burrows who demonstrated different circus skills which we then had a go at. These included; devil sticks, diablo, spinning plates, hula hoops and stilts.
All the children had lots of fun and learnt new skills. Well done and thank you to all those who came.
