Year 1 Fathers Day/Male Carers Celebration
We had a brilliant time on Friday in both the afternoon and the evening session. There were three activities. First there was den building for an animal and then for two grownups. After that the children guided the grown up through the 'blind trail' the latest addition to our wonderful sensory garden. Finally we got to whittle a stick in preparation for cooking a sausage over an open fire, complete with tomato ketchup! All the activities were great fun but it got even better when we tested the dens to see if they were waterproof...some very wet children and dads! Thank you to Mrs Huddlestone who came along as official photographer even though it was her birthday. Look out for similar events and please do come along, we look forward to seeing you next time.
