Year 1 and 2 Diwali and Bonfire Art Afternoon
What a fun and busy afternoon in all the Year 1 and Year 2 classes.
The children began the afternoon finding out about Diwali, they heard the story of Rama and Sita, and learnt about how Diwali is celebrated.
During the afternoon the children had the chance to colour in or design their own Rangoli Patterns.

In classes we also talked about Bonfire night and how we celebrate it. The children enjoyed lots of exciting firework activities including:-
- Drawing Firework pictures using Pastels and Chalk
- Creating exciting Rockets and decorating them
- Making and eating delicious 'Chocolate Sparklers'
