Water Safety Assembly
This morning was a little bit different as we all went into the hall for an assembly which we don't usually do on a Tuesday!
A lady called Maureen came in to speak to us all about something very important - Water Safety!
Maureen told us all about the different types of water and that we should always be SAFE and Stand Away From the Edge when we are near any water!
We then looked at a poster and we had to spot the things that people were doing wrong and put a sad face on it.

Luckily it wasn't all bad as we spotted some people doing the right thing too.

Maureen when onto show us how to safely throw different objects to people who are stuck in water. This included not just a buoyancy ring but we also found out you can use a ball or even an empty water bottle.
The Assembly was very informative and all the children learnt lots of very important information. Thank you to Maureen for coming in and speaking to us all!
