Media Watch Presentation

Today Westfield Infant School and Westfield Junior School welcomed 'Mediawatch'.  They gave a presentation on how to protect our children and respond to potentially harmful influences in the media. These presentaions were for parents from both schools. The first was in the afternoon at the infant school and the second was held in the evening at the Junior school.
Technology is all around us and a very important part or our lives. Children especially are growing up with the new technologies and therefore we need to make sure they stay safe.

We had a small number of parents who attended the presentations and were given lots of helpful information and advice. For those who could not attend the presentation please see the links below.

Remember keep talking to your children all the time about how to use the internet and to change your filter controls when on the internet.
