Harvest Assembly
Today, children in Year 1 and 2 enjoyed sharing their learning about harvest. Year 2 explained what 'Fair Trade' means and why it is important to know where our food comes from. Year 1 sang the 'Banana' song and shared a prayer of thanks and hope for people across the world at this time of year.
A brilliant effort by all the children and we're so pleased that many of the Westfield families could come and take part too!
The Harvest Hamper raffle draw will take place tomorrow and additional food contributions will be shared with Westfield Community Centre to support their ongoing work with local people.
