Fitness in Schools - Thank you!
Today in assembly Mrs MacLauchlan thanked the whole school for the amazing fundraising they did as part of Fitness in Schools Day. The donations and sponsor money has enabled us to send a cheque from the school for £1,500. Mrs MacLauchlan told the children about the work of LOROS and what a special place it is.
The child in each class who had collected the most sponsorship money/donations received a small prize as a thank you. However ALL the donations and sponsor money helped to make this fantastic total and everyone should be proud of their efforts. Brian phoned school today and Mrs Babic told him the news and he was very happy and he said 'Well done again Westfield! You are my favourite school'.
Thank you to all parents/carers and members of the community who have helped to make this fund raising such a great success!
