Easter Assembly

We had a very busy assembly today. 

 

We started by celebrating 6th and 7th birthdays and any children who had certificates and awards to share.

 

The teaching staff also had a lot of certificates to give out today for Mudbusters, Multisports, Junior Librarians, WOW Club and Football.

 

After a fantastic Easter Bonnet parade (there were some incredible bonnets) Mrs MacLauchlan showed us the Easter basket, which is filled with information about Easter.  She talked about all the different things associated with Easter and the meaning behind them.  It is good to remember the reason we celebrate at Easter time, it is not just all about chocolate!

 

The WISA raffle was then drawn. We had 20 fantastic prizes and all the winners were very happy. Thank you to everyone who supported the raffle by donating items and  buying tickets. The assembly  finished with us singing everyone's favourite song Spring Chicken.

 

Staff and Governors hope that all Westfield families have a lovely Easter break. See you all on Monday 29 April 2019.
