Class 9 Assembly - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Class 9's assembly was themed around the national 'Roald Dahl' day which celebrated the author's 100th birthday.

The audience were given a short synopsis of the story, meeting the golden ticket winners and finding out who won the greatest prize - the chocolate factory!

Children were keen to share facts about Roald Dahl, an acrostic poem about the many wonderful characters that Roald Dahl created and some of their own chocolate bar creations.

Can you remember where Roald Dahl wrote his books?

What was special about the paper he used?

We were reminded that chocolate and sweets are great as a special treat every now and then. All children were able to join in with our Westfield song 'Don't let your teeth go rotten'.

Well done Class 9 on a super assembly to start the new year.
