Class 5 Assembly - Chinese New Year
Today Class 5 told us all about Chinese New Year.
After a question and answer session to find out what Chinese New Year is and when it is celebrated some pupils showed us all the ways that New Year is celebrated in China. From decorating the walls with red paper, to what food they eat. Can you remember any of the other things that people do to celebrate?
After that Mr James told us the story of how some animals became animals of the Chinese zodiac.
Class 5 finished by singing a song for us.
