Class 3 Assembly - Julia Donaldson Stories
This morning Class 3 showed us how much they had enjoyed reading some books by the author Julia Donaldson. They started with Stickman, who was used to build a snowman, as a bat, as a sword and lastly to help some birds build a nest.
All of Class 3 told us a lovely animal poem called Animal Voices before showing us the story What the Ladybird Heard. We met lots of different farm animals and they sang a song and did a dance.
Next we heard about Tiddler. The fish who is always late for school. Oh dear!
Last of all we heard about Tabby McTat the Buskers Cat. Class 3 sang to us and then the whole school joined in with a school favourite, Spring Chicken.
Well done Class 3. What a wonderful assembly.
