Boundary Farm Visit

Eight children from Year 1 were very lucky to visit Boundary Farm today. We learnt so much about the food that the farm produces. It is a dairy farm so mostly produces milk. They have 100 cows and produce 2000 litres of milk every day. We got the chance to pick sweetcorn and potatoes from the fields, feed the hens, visit the cows, see the pumpkins and learn all about the milking machines. All the children were very well behaved and extremely enthusiastic about their visit. They are looking forward to sharing information with their classes tomorrow and with the whole school in assembly after half term.
