Blunderbus - Duck on a Truck
We had another visit from the Blunderbus Theatre Company on Tuesday with their wonderful performance of Duck in a Truck. The show was fantastic as always but also offered a lot of opportunities for learning both at school and at home. The children use this as a basis for their writing in school so it would be really helpful if you could talk to your child about the story. You could make some simple finger puppets and retell the story. There is also Science, Geography, PHSE and other Literacy ideas in the booklet that is available in reception for anybody that could not make the performance with ideas for extending your child's learning at home. If you were unable to come this time look out next year for the visit, it is well worth it and will enrich your child's learning. We look forward to seeing you next time.
