Year 1 Computing Family Learning session
Today, some of the Year 1 parents/carers were joined by their children as they explored the devices, software and apps that children have been using in Computing sessions so far this year. Pupils were able to put their coding skills to the test, navigating Beebots around world maps. As well as this, children worked with their adult to create simple fact files about a favourite topic of theirs. They used www.kiddle.co to safely search the internet for images and information and presented this using Microsoft Office Word. As well as all of this, we were all reminded of the importance of using technology and the internet safely and responsibly.
