Today some pupils from Class 8, who have been coming to Music Makers on a Thursday after school, performed for classes 8,9 and 10 in assembly.
Music Makers Club has been great fun. We started the 6 week sessions by looking at all the ways we could use 'junk' to make sounds. (We also listened and watched some professionals playing Stomp to give us some ideas). We looked at how we could use our instruments to accompany a song and then spent time practicing how to use our instruments to play along with the beat of a song.
Everyone had lots of fun and the audience gave Music Makers Club a huge round of applause! Well done Music Makers!
