Animal Visitors in Year 1!
Today, Year 1 children were given a real treat - a visit from some exotic animals, as part of our Summer term topic 'Paws, Claws and Whiskers'.
Children got to meet a meerkat, a royal python, a lesser tenrec, a tarantula, a tortoise and a bearded dragon.
All the children interacted with the animals and listened to some fascinating facts about each, including what they ate and which country they are native to.
The children enjoyed asking questions to find out more about these interesting animals too.
