Children in Need Assembly

This morning the children had a treat because they were able to bring a Teddy or special furry friend to school and they all came to assembly. We asked in return for this treat that the children gave a donation to our Children in Need collection.

Well done to those children who did jobs at home to earn pocket money for the collection. Also well done to those children who decorated the Pudsey envelope so beautifully.

Each class collected the envelopes and donations in the Children in Need bucket and these were taken by the School Council to Mrs Babic in the office who then had the task of counting the money. So far we have raised £302.00 so that is another great Westfield effort because we also raised money by selling the Pudsey Bear ears.

During assembly we watched a film about some of the great ways that the Children in Need funds can help children in this country. We sang some fun action songs with our furry friends and as you can see from the photographs our visitors remembered to follow the Golden Rules!

At lunchtime there was a special treat because everyone had the chance to have a Pudsey biscuit for pudding!!
